GULLIVER'S GATE

One of my more recent projects  was as a Model Maker at Gulliver's Gate, Time Square's latest attraction! A feat of model making and engineering it hosts a 47,000 square foot experience featuring miniature models of landmarks and cities around the world but also includes the development of, satellite controlled and conduction charged, planes in a 2,000 square foot model airport. Along with helping build the attraction, Gulliver's Gate's ethos is also about something not available anywhere else in the world, interaction with it's makers while they expand on the attraction. We were part of the exhibit, while in the workshop or performing maintenance, we informed and interacted with the public, proving not only very rewarding for us but as an extremely unique opportunity for the public.

 

I left New York and this position due to visa reasons and would love nothing more than to work with a great team dynamic again that cares about the value, and joy, of models.
